Treatment for Families

Testimonials

We help make the world a better place.

The Center for Achieving Balance for Children and Families, LLC was founded by Patricia Brady to implement programs designed to support children and families coping with change and overcoming adversities, with a focus on working with families where there are parent child contact difficulties.

A collaborative team of clinicians is available to provide intensive services to referred children and families and will offer ongoing counseling support as may be necessary. Treatment plans will be designed based upon the specific needs of each family.

I can’t thank you enough for everything, you have been with us since forever, so giving of your time, you are an amazing person! There is no way we could have gotten full legal custody without your reports, thank you, thank you, thank you!

Warmest regards, - C. (Mother)

I have known and worked with Patricia Brady for more than 20 plus years. Patricia is compassionate, clinically adept, fair and reasonable, thorough, and willing to go the extra length to help her clients. She has stepped outside the box to help families.

Patricia Brady comes to the field of child welfare with unique experiences and a valuable background. She has been on the front lines as a DCF social worker and supervisor. She has filled many important capacities in both the Probate & Family Courts and the Juvenile Courts of the Commonwealth of MA.

Judges have relied heavily upon Patricia’s credible testimony and her well crafted written reports due to her many years of clinical experience dealing with families in crisis. This has earned her the respect and well deserved reputation.

Kevin Patrick Seaver, Esq.

I went to Patricia due to an open case involved with DCF (Department of Children and Families). Due to the large variation in the degree of conscientiousness and work ethics of their social workers, the ultimate goal of DCF to protect children and families is not always guaranteed and it is not uncommonly found that conclusions reached by their social workers, though being approved by their supervisors, are untenable. Nevertheless, in order to protect your legal rights against a false allegation, it is often the case that you will need a professional and experienced expert to independently assess your case and submit his/her clinical findings as evidence. For this, I highly recommend Patricia, as she is very knowledgeable and experienced with issues involving DCF, and is very reasonable and fair throughout the process.

In my experience, her investigation is much more thorough and clinically sound than the one performed by the DCF social worker.

I was referred to Pat Brady by multiple people. I started seeing her close to a year ago, at that time my life had been turned upside down and the light at the end of the tunnel seemed so bleak and far away. With her guidance, her tell you how it is attitude, and her knowledge of the court system. The pieces of my life and the lives of my children were slowly being rebuilt. Not only just being rebuilt but now with a foundation strong enough to never be shattered again. Her level of care and compassion surpasses any and all professionals I have ever worked with in the past. She goes above and beyond the call of duty for her patients. She may not always say what you want to hear but it will always be what you need to hear. There isn't a doubt in my mind about the pivotal role she has played in the transformation of the Woman and Mother I have become today and for that I will forever be eternally grateful . The end of the tunnel now seems closer than ever.

My divorce centered around the custody of my adopted daughter in which the parenting plan and visitation schedule was bitterly contested and interfered with. Pat was assigned by the court as a GAL to evaluate the parenting plan. I was skeptical about the GAL process but went through with it despite my reluctance. From my initial meeting with Pat, I found her to be very thorough, professional but more importantly compassionate in her willingness to help me along with my daughter. I felt hopeless and Pat recognized that immediately. Pat provided me with a keen insight into the parental alienation I was experiencing, a term I was unaware of. The bulk of her 20 year career specializes in Parental Alienation and her experience in this specific area really helped me understand the situation I was experiencing. In her extensive report, she made strong recommendations to improve my situation along with superb advice to me in managing my daughters distress given the complexity of my case. The court followed nearly all of her recommendations in developing a parenting plan in the Judgement on Custody on my case. In her post report, Pat was always available for support and provided me with advice on the execution of the court ordered parenting plan. She has a wealth of contacts for parents to help in custody situations that are riddled with acrimony. Any family that is suffering from the distress of a divorce would be the beneficiary of Pat's experience and expertise!

Patricia and her team do really difficult work. Work that most clinicians won’t do. Her experience and knowledge of the child welfare is second to none. Patricia’s desire to help children and families is amazing. She provides guidance to the family in a very fair way.

I have nothing but love for Patricia Brady and staff. I find most of these reviews very disturbing to my knowledge. My son has been in and around PB and Associates within 7 years of childhood since he was a toddler. Pat Brady is the best and most highly respected Guardian Ad Litem in the Greater Boston area and County from my experience. I would not have it any other way. I have the utmost respect and love for Pat Brady and staff always doing things in best interest for my son since day 1. They are the most professional and caring group I know of around. And I would never choose anyone else. I moved my son back after a recommended option by Pat. I ended up coming back and it's the best thing I could have done for my sons well being. Very friendly and welcoming and my son loves working with her staff after he missed out on a very special person leaving and jumped on board with Priscilla who he absolutely adores. Thank you Pat Brady & staff for always being there. Understanding and being flexible with appointments. But most importantly always being there to help my son. To be honest they feel more like a family than just going to wait at an appointment. Your always in the loop and welcomed to discuss and socialize as a team with your child. Highly Recommended!!!
