As a clinician working in private practice for over twenty years, Patricia Brady is a practitioner who is aware of and sensitive to the diverse needs of individuals and families. Over the course of Ms. Brady's career, she has had experience with high-risk populations including those at risk for mental health disorders, such as depression, anxiety, and personality disorders. A significant amount of Ms. Brady's practice has involved working with individuals touched by adoption and facing challenges related to establishing or re-establishing healthy attachments. Ms. Brady also has extensive experience working with those involved in high-conflict custody actions before the Probate and Family Court system.
Patricia Brady approaches her clinical practice with a cognitive behavioral model, while always being cognizant of family systems theory.
The Center for Achieving Balance for Children and Families has a team of experienced clinicians providing counseling for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. We offer a range of expertise in treating a variety of presenting problems including depression, anxiety, serious mental illness, personality disorders, substance use, interpersonal conflict, and navigating the challenges of day-to-day life.

EDUCATIONAL ADVOCACY
As a former member of the Medford School Committee for six years, Patricia Brady developed a deep appreciation for the needs of children and their families as they negotiated the special education system for their children. In her private practice, many families have turned to Ms. Brady for guidance, advocacy and support in terms of understanding their child’s learning needs and working with the public school system which at times can be challenging and overwhelming.
