Kimberly Gendron, M.S., LMHC
Kimberly achieved a Masters of Science in Community Mental Health/Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University in 2012. Following the Master’s Degree, she earned became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts in 2015. She also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Plymouth State University in 2003. Her pre-masters experience was obtained in middle and elementary school guidance counseling and through psychiatric assessment in the emergency room setting.
Kimberly began her career working as a case manager in the mental health field at a community mental health agency in New Hampshire. Her career advanced clinically, as Kimberly provided therapeutic services in the community and in homes. Most recently, Kimberly managed the community-based services of Youth Villages, an intensive in home and community based agency.
Kimberly is an independently licensed clinician providing therapy to individuals, couples, families and groups. She is trained in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy as well as Child Parent Psychotherapy. In addition to therapy, Kimberly also engages in court investigation work, Guardian Ad Litem work and supervises court ordered parenting time. Kimberly has a diversity of skills including trauma informed care, which aid her in varying the treatment to fit the particular person and situation presented. She creates a close, supportive relationship in the counseling setting to assist each person in moving forward through open discussion, developing personal insight, and offering workable suggestions.
