Expert Consultation Over the course of the preceding eleven years, Patricia Brady has been qualified in trials involving issues which include trials focused on Dispensing With The Need for Parental Consent To Adoption, Visitation, and Placement and Permanency Planning Rogers Order, Child Abuse and Neglect Cases, Divorce matters, and Paternity Actions. Judges in both the Juvenile and Probate Courts in the Commonwealth have qualified Patricia Brady in the following areas: Trauma - Risk Assessment - Attachment Disorder - Family Systems – Child Welfare - Placement and Permanency Planning - Sexual Abuse - Adoption – Child Custody Evaluations. Often Patricia is called upon to provide consultation to attorneys and to parents on a number of issues related to custody, care and protection matters, child in need of services matters, delinquency cases, mental health cases, parenting evaluations, adoption cases, attachment related disorders, trauma and placement and permanency planning matters. Patricia Brady prides herself on being able to bring people of divergent perspectives together, she often consults to those professionals and state agencies involved in caring for the most vulnerable of our society: victims of child abuse and neglect and those challenged with mental illness. In cases where Patricia is called upon for consultation, she approaches the matter as a neutral advisor, providing an objective assessment and opinion about the relevant issues. Because of the integrity with which she approaches her work, all parties involved often assent to the use of Patricia Brady. Patricia Brady is an approved expert by the Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS) and bills directly to CPCS for services rendered, where there is an approved motion for funds for those indigent clients who find themselves the subject of a court action.
